Oh what a New Year

So Chad and I had a great New Years Eve. We went over to our friends house and played games until Midnight. It was a fun time and great food. It was kind of funny though because Anita sister came over to say hi and thier dog ran over to her and peed on her foot. I of coarse laughed and laughed (it was late and everything was funny). After midnight we came home and fell fast asleep. Chad and I then just got to spend the rest of the weekend together really doing nothing but being bored. Oh Chad got new tires 450 dollars later... Ugh I hate how everything cost so much money.
Yesterday as my wonderful husband decided to do the laundry so that I didn't have to... I heard him call up to me saying "Shell I think your washer sprung a leak", not what I wanted to hear. I make my way downstairs. Sure enough water everywhere. I was thinking to my self really whatelse can go wrong right now. I was so stressed that I just want to cry, but didn't because I hate letting people see me cry. UGH!!! So Chad then called his dad and his dad told him to check the pump. Heck we have never taken apart a washer and needless to say it took us a while, hopefully we will be able to put it back together. Well good news is that it did infact look as if it is the pump. So next we go searching for the part, well being Sunday nothing is opened except Sears and big suprise the part we need is one back order..... Great no washer for awhile. Anyone have one we can borrow for a few hours to wash clothes? UGH!! what a way to start the New Year! HAPPY NEW YEARS everyone

  1. Chip had also had a lot of experience fixing something that he's had no idea how to do it. furnature, washers, dryers, vaccuums, etc.... I'm just glad that he's able to do it. Seriously... A guy who's a do-it-yourself-er is a catch!
    This too shall pass.
We went through the whole summer this year with a washer that flooded every single time. (a sensor was broken) My carpets were constantly wet, and I was always in tears.
These little trials are to give us strength. You can pull through it. :)
