Oh what a New Year

So Chad and I had a great New Years Eve. We went over to our friends house and played games until Midnight. It was a fun time and great food. It was kind of funny though because Anita sister came over to say hi and thier dog ran over to her and peed on her foot. I of coarse laughed and laughed (it was late and everything was funny). After midnight we came home and fell fast asleep. Chad and I then just got to spend the rest of the weekend together really doing nothing but being bored. Oh Chad got new tires 450 dollars later... Ugh I hate how everything cost so much money.
Yesterday as my wonderful husband decided to do the laundry so that I didn't have to... I heard him call up to me saying "Shell I think your washer sprung a leak", not what I wanted to hear. I make my way downstairs. Sure enough water everywhere. I was thinking to my self really whatelse can go wrong right now. I was so stressed that I just want to cry, but didn't because I hate letting people see me cry. UGH!!! So Chad then called his dad and his dad told him to check the pump. Heck we have never taken apart a washer and needless to say it took us a while, hopefully we will be able to put it back together. Well good news is that it did infact look as if it is the pump. So next we go searching for the part, well being Sunday nothing is opened except Sears and big suprise the part we need is one back order..... Great no washer for awhile. Anyone have one we can borrow for a few hours to wash clothes? UGH!! what a way to start the New Year! HAPPY NEW YEARS everyone

Sledding

On December 26, we went sledding with some friends and thier children. It was Mari and Adam's frist sledding experience. They had a blast, the whole ride down the hill Adam would be laughing and was always ready to go again once we stopped. Adam didn't like the walking up the hill part so much and half the time Chad ended up carrying him up by his coat. It was a beautiful day and great weather. That is one thing I like about being in Utah, there are place to go sledding. Growing up in Lewiston, ID it was a very rare occansion that there was even enough snow to go sledding. ~Picture to come still new at this~

Christmas!

I'll post pictures later when I figure out how. So Chad and I had Mari and Adam this year for Christmas, it was so much fun. Chad and I went over to his Dads house the Sunday before and had a family Christmas party. It was lots of fun and the food was soooo yummy. I got to meet Chad's step-sister and her husband and their daughter. Adam and Mari were able to meet some of there cousins for the first time. It was a dino themed Christmas and the kids had a great time and gots lots of fun gifts.
On Christmas Eve we had Chad's Step-dad, Mom, and little sister over for dinner and presents. I cooked a Ham and the works to go along. It sure was a yummy dinner. Chad and I were suprised when we opened our gift from him parents.... it was the title to thier suburban. I have been borrowing thier suburban since I stated my daycare so that I could get kids faster since I would be able to provide transportation and most other daycares don't. his parents don't really have a need for it so they gave it to us. Later that night after Chad's parents had left and the kids were in bed, we pulled out the kids gifts so we could wrap them and set up the "Santa" gifts. I was in wrapping the gifts (Chad won't wrap presents cause he isn't so good at it to say the least) in the Kitchen and Chad was in the living room with all the parts to Mari's new Kitchen scattered about.... Chad then grabbed the directions and went to look for the screws it was calling for; You will never guess what he never found... Yes the screws. The Kitchen that we bought from Sears had no screws to put the darn thing together. Just our luck. So needless to say Mari never got the kitchen. It all worked out though and a gift that was suppose to be to the both of them just went to Mari unstead..... She never knew the difference.
Christmas Morning was great. Mari and Adam didn't wake us up until 8:05, they don't understand all the hype about Christmas yet. Both kids loved thier gifts and of coarse wanted what the other had. Chad spoiled me for Christmas and I got everything I wanted, My favorite was the scrapbooking stuff and gift card to buy more stuff (not that I need any more stuff but its always fun to buy new stuff). I think I had Chad alittle suprised in what he got but he got everything he wanted as well since he only asked for 2 things. I think is favorite is a tie between the playstation 3 remote that also works on the tv (yay for me cause we only need one remote now) and his 1 TB External Hard Drive. All in All it was a great and relaxing day.
